Privacy Policy

Brogress is built by Micro Manual Studio LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run your account and the social features. Your camera is used only on your device to count reps, and those frames are never uploaded or stored. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

1. Information you give us

Account details: your email address and the username you choose. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a verified email (or Apple's private relay address) and a unique ID from that provider.
Profile: an optional profile photo and your chosen exercise goals.
Workout data: the reps, sets, exercises, streaks, and scores you log in the app.

2. Your camera

If you use the rep-counter, Brogress accesses your camera to count repetitions in real time. This processing happens entirely on your device. Camera images and video are never recorded, uploaded, or stored. Only the resulting rep count is saved to your workout history.

3. Information collected automatically

Product analytics: we use PostHog to understand which features are used and where the app can improve (for example, screens viewed and buttons tapped). This is tied to your account ID so we can fix issues you report.
Crash & diagnostic data: we use Sentry to capture crash reports and errors so we can keep the app stable.
Subscription status: we use RevenueCat to manage your subscription and free trial. Your actual payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card details.

4. What other people can see

Brogress is social. Your username, profile photo, and workout stats (such as rep totals, streaks, and leaderboard rank) are visible to other users on leaderboards, in challenges, and on your public profile. Your email address is never shown to other users.

5. How we use your information

To create and run your account.
To power leaderboards, challenges, squads, and other social features.
To manage your subscription and free trial.
To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we never share it for advertising or cross-app tracking. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work: Supabase (database & authentication), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash reporting), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and Apple/Google (sign-in), each only to the extent needed to provide their service. We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, or by emailing us at contact@brogressfit.com. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and workout history from our systems.

8. Children

Brogress is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these, email contact@brogressfit.com and we'll help.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Brogress after changes means you accept the updated policy.
